What could become possible for you?

Case Study 1
Taking on a Challenging New Position

S was in the process of moving to another country to start an Executive position and was overwhelmed with getting up to speed on his new scope of work, wanting to start off his relationships on the right foot, juggling expectations from 4 different managers, and navigating a new culture. Coaching helped S get clear on what was important for him to focus on in the mountain of to-dos, and reframed his perspective on how to approach new relationships with positivity instead of apprehension.

Case Study 2
From Stuck on the Hamster Wheel to Zero Overtime

M, an Operations Manager in the Software Industry, was overwhelmed with her workload and felt like she never had time to get proper sleep, exercise, or spend quality time with her family. Through coaching, she went from doing overtime work every day (or even waiting until everyone was asleep to tackle some work at 11pm) to building confidence in negotiating deadlines and managing her time effectively. She freed up time every day to spend time with her son, get quality sleep, and feels more in control and joyous each day.

Case Study 3
Setting Boundaries & Overcoming Perfectionism

A, a Director in the Tech Industry, felt like she was constantly putting out fires. She recognized that she had tendencies to drop everything to help her team members and would then need to scramble to focus on her own work. And when she did focus on her own deliverables, she realized she was spending 2 hours on things that probably only needed 30 minutes. Coaching helped her get clear on boundaries, communicate her availability, overcome perfectionism, and have open time for developing her art practice.

Case Study 4
Preparing for a Panel Interview

M was a contender for Partner and had her upcoming panel interview. She is bright, full of expertise and experience, but was struggling to promote herself and verbalize her accomplishments to her peers. Coaching helped her organize her thoughts and develop succinct responses to interview questions that paint a picture of how she’d be an effective Partner. She got the role!

Case Study 5
Building Cross-Cultural Competence

S had been living in Japan for 3 years as a Managing Director in the Financial Industry and was still scratching her head on how to lead Japanese employees effectively. She felt like all of the time she had spent observing and trying different ways to communicate was not effective. During our coaching sessions, we discussed cross-cultural communication and she had a lot of a-ha moments for experiences where she saw a behavior but didn’t understand where it was coming from.
