How to lose weight without willpower

By now, you're probably wondering....if what I say is true that you don't need to have willpower to reach your health goals, then how can you possibly reach them?

I remember feeling conflicted when I heard about "intuitive eating". It sounded so great - just listen to your body and good things should happen, right?

But it was so nerve racking to not be counting, measuring, or weighing things all the time. I was worried that if I didn't put in effort, that nothing good would happen (or worse...that I'd get even bigger).

The key here is to do everything you can to get your body to start functioning properly.

Your body already knows how to be in balance, but often times our lifestyles and food choices make our body have to do even more work.

So, the aim is to find out how can you take stress off of your body. That means emotional stress (pressure), physical stress (over-exertion), and internal stress (eating foods that are harsh on the digestive system, etc.).

In other words, instead of trying to make things harder for yourself with more willpower, your focus should be on how to make things easier and less stressful for yourself in order for your body to start functioning properly.
